Again. My husband, a U.S. Army medic, was relocated to Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state and we moved our family from central California up the West Coast where I had no job or family.\n\nRelocating at a moment’s notice to serve our country is part of the life we signed up for, and I wouldn’t change a thing, but I’m the first to recognize it also has its challenges.\n\n![ A woman wears a headset while looking at two computer monitors.](https://assets.aboutamazon.com/dims4/default/99cea0e/2147483647/strip/true/crop/2100x1380+0+0/resize/767x504!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.aboutamazon.com%2Fe4%2F29%2Fd42d1d5c4c5f8f38ebec6d78ccc1%2Fgeneric-customersupport-sabrinat-001.jpg)\n\nIt’s a similar story to thousands of other military families across the U.S. That’s why I feel fortunate to be part of a company that appreciates and values the skills of military veterans and spouses. As a customer service team lead for Amazon’s Virtual Customer Service, I spend every day talking to new people and building relationships with my team. Despite not having a physical office, I enjoy a sense of community and camaraderie with my peers around the country who also work from home. \n\nI am so excited to know that Amazon has virtual and part-time roles across its customer fulfillment network over the next year. These roles offer military spouses like me and countless others employment opportunities no matter where they are located.\n\nI encourage interested candidates to visit [www.amazondelivers.jobs](http://www.amazondelivers.jobs/) to learn more or apply online for a virtually-located role.\n\n*Originally published April 6, 2017.*","publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"About Amazon","url":"https://www.aboutamazon.com","sameAs":["https://x.com/amazonnews","https://www.linkedin.com/company/amazon","https://www.instagram.com/amazonnews"],"logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://assets.aboutamazon.com/bd/8f/88e7b0314cc2bd05b9de3155a0fe/amazon-news.svg"},"parentOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Amazon","url":"https://www.amazon.com","sameAs":["https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q3884","https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_(company)","https://x.com/Amazon"]}}}
