The team handed out Amazon Military t-shirts, which were made by Rags of Honor, a Chicago-based company that employs homeless veterans.\n\nThe Warriors@ chapter in DuPont will coordinate casual get-togethers, organize volunteer opportunities, and provide a support network for members of the military and their supporters. The Amazon Military team will launch Warriors@Amazon chapters across the U.S. and internationally in upcoming months.\n\nThis activity continues Amazon’s ongoing commitment to create a vibrant military community. In May 2016, Amazon pledged to hire 25,000 veterans and military spouses by 2021, and to train 10,000 more in cloud computing through AWS Educate.","publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"About Amazon","url":"https://www.aboutamazon.com","sameAs":["https://x.com/amazonnews","https://www.linkedin.com/company/amazon","https://www.instagram.com/amazonnews"],"logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://assets.aboutamazon.com/bd/8f/88e7b0314cc2bd05b9de3155a0fe/amazon-news.svg"},"parentOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Amazon","url":"https://www.amazon.com","sameAs":["https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q3884","https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_(company)","https://x.com/Amazon"]}}}
