We’ve officially reached [back-to-school season](http://www.amazon.com/backtoschool), and many parents are in a mad dash to get their families ready for the year ahead. Amazon spoke with busy mother of two and Univision TV personality [Ana Patricia Gámez](https://www.instagram.com/anapatriciatv/) to find out how she prepares her family to head back to the classroom.

“Amazon has been my ally in solving many needs, one being back-to-school items, which sometimes as busy parents we tend to leave for the last minute,” said Gámez. “If I need something urgent, I know I can get it the next day with Amazon from the comfort of my home.”

Here are Gámez’s best tips for a successful start to the school year:

“Back-to-school shopping can feel overwhelming, especially when shopping for multiple children in different grades,” said Gámez. “Amazon makes it much more convenient to find school supplies in a one-stop shop and get what we need as quickly as possible with lists broken out by deals, grade, characters, and more.” Amazon also recently launched Your Supply List to conveniently find teachers’ school supply lists by school ZIP code.

Another part of her family’s morning routine includes gathering in the kitchen together for breakfast and setting the mood for a successful school day with the help of Alexa. “I love having my [Echo Show 8](https://www.amazon.com/Echo-Show-Base-ajustable-Carb%C3%B3n/dp/B08KFKZ4XS/ref=d_p13n_ds_purchase_sim_1p_dp_desktop_sccl_1_1/142-4950384-2914605?pd_rd_w=4n4jq&content-id=amzn1.sym.86ed191f-b9a7-4e41-ac80-b0637c13c687&pf_rd_p=86ed191f-b9a7-4e41-ac80-b0637c13c687&pf_rd_r=FFSYAVHKJHMG1RV0TDJA&pd_rd_wg=yt2mV&pd_rd_r=d8085123-96be-447d-8194-b4248f48b73e&pd_rd_i=B08KFKZ4XS&psc=1) in the kitchen because I can get recipe inspiration for both breakfast and lunchbox prep,” said Gámez. “Listening to music in the morning is also a must in my home. My children love music and ask Alexa what they want to listen to while having breakfast every morning.”

If you’re a parent shopping for school clothes, Gámez recommends comparing prices on Amazon to find what best suits your budget while keeping quality and your own tastes in mind. Her kids wear [uniforms](https://www.amazon.com/School-Uniforms/s?k=School+Uniforms) to school, so that’s always top of her list, along with new [backpacks](https://www.amazon.com/gcx/Favoritos-de-los-Clientes/gfhz/events/ref=cg_BTS2022_2c1_w?canBeEGifted=false&canBeGiftWrapped=false&categoryId=bts-cml&isLimitedTimeOffer=false&isPrime=false&subcategoryIds=bts-cml%3Abackpacks) to match their favorite themes and characters. “The incredible thing about Amazon is having a wide variety of options and items,” said Gámez. “Seeing customer reviews helps me a lot when deciding which item to purchase.”

As she prepares to drop her children off at school every day, Gámez likes to leave them notes and incorporate other items for them to read in their lunchboxes. “I find incredible things on Amazon for their entertainment as well as [children's kitchen utensils](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=kids+utensils+for+lunch+box&sprefix=kids+uten%2Caps%2C150&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_2_9), which they love. These little surprises brighten their day when they open their [brightly colored lunchboxes](https://www.amazon.com/gcx/Customers'-Most-Loved/gfhz/events/ref=cg_BTS2022_2c1_w?canBeEGifted=false&canBeGiftWrapped=false&categoryId=bts-cml&isLimitedTimeOffer=false&isPrime=false&subcategoryIds=bts-cml%3Alunchboxes) with their favorite characters on them.”
