We are excited to congratulate the latest group of Amazon Career Choice graduates. Hourly associates at our fulfillment centers in Delaware and Tennessee recently completed certifications for high-demand fields and were honored at their schools’ graduation ceremonies.

Patricia Blevins, Tammie Shook, Jon Price and Adnan Rahmani from Lebanon, Tennessee (pictured above), graduated from Volunteer State Community College. Rashida Skinner, Chelsea Akers, Kayla Lucas and Nichole Strzalka from Middletown, Delaware (pictured below), graduated from Delaware Technical Community College.

Associates had the opportunity to attend many of their college courses onsite in Amazon’s dedicated Career Choice classroom which helps remove the barriers of transportation and scheduling for associates wishing to pursue their education while working full-time.

Career Choice pre-pays 95 percent of the cost of tuition to help provide skills for today’s most in-demand fields, regardless of whether those skills are related to jobs at Amazon. Since this program's inception, more than 9,000 associates have participated.

Even with the company’s support and resources, we know it takes hard work and determination to make it to graduation day. We applaud all of our graduates and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors, whether their path continues at Amazon or brings them to other pursuits fulfilling needed roles in their communities.
