In 2011, Salt Lake City mom, Christine Krogue, began selling her first product, Baby Undersocks, online, through her own website. Sales were slow. A friend suggested she try selling on Amazon. After her first sale, Krogue said her business just kept growing. As time went on she added additional products to her Mama Moon Boutique on Amazon.
Krogue has seen her sales more than double, growing from 20 per day to 40-50 items per day - with sales increasing as she receives more and more reviews. She's now shipped to five continents, sending deliveries to Germany, China, Australia and Argentina.
Her business is doing well enough that she's hired six part-time employees, all of whom live in her neighborhood and work from home. As a stay-at-home mom, Krogue created her own success in her spare time.
“I sell Fulfilled by Amazon/Prime, so you get it in two days. And people just love that.” The team got ready for Cyber Monday and the holidays by preparing product for Amazon Fulfillment Center - allowing customers to order product and have it shipped from Amazon, taking advantage of 2-day shipping with their Prime membership.
