Amazon is making returns even easier.
Customers can now make free returns on eligible items with no shipping box, tape, or label needed at more than 10,000 drop-off locations across the United States. Our continued investment in the returns network and expanding partnerships means four out of five customers have a drop-off point within five miles of their home, making it easier than ever to complete a return at a convenient location.
Over 1,500 FedEx Office locations nationwide are the latest addition to Amazon’s growing network of return drop-off points, joining familiar locations like Whole Foods Market, The UPS Store, Kohl’s, and Staples.
“Convenience doesn’t end once you place your order,” said Gopal Pillai, vice president of Returns and Recommerce at Amazon. “We work hard to help customers find products they’ll love and use, but like any retailer, sometimes a return is needed—and when that happens, we want the experience to be seamless. We’re constantly working to make returns simpler, and bringing FedEx Office locations into our nationwide network is one more way we’re building a return experience that fits naturally into customers’ everyday lives.”
Making returns simple is an important part of the Amazon shopping experience. By expanding convenient drop-off locations, Amazon is helping customers save time and take care of returns as part of their everyday routines—without needing extra packaging or a printer at home.

For eligible items, starting a return is easy. Customers begin the return process in their Amazon account, choose a nearby drop-off location, and receive a QR code. They can then bring their unpackaged item and QR code to the selected location, where the item is scanned and prepared for shipping—no shipping box or label required.
