Pride Month

Prime Video is celebrating LGBTQ+ experiences with stories throughout Pride Month with a curated collection of stories and entertainment. From a bold reimagining of a classic play to a chaotic college comedy, here are some of the top titles to stream in June and all year. Check out the Pride Month collection page for the full lineup.

‘Hedda’

Hedda is a modern reimagining of Henrik Ibsen's classic play. The movie stars Tessa Thompson as Hedda Gabler, a woman torn between a past love and the quiet suffocation of her present life as long-repressed desires erupt into a spiral of manipulation, passion, and betrayal. Nia DaCosta (Candyman, The Marvels) directed and wrote the screenplay for Hedda.

‘Overcompensating’

Overcompensating is a college-set ensemble comedy following Benny (Benito Skinner), a closeted former football player, and Carmen (Wally Baram), a high school outsider, as they navigate horrible hookups, fake IDs, and the chaotic lengths we all go to while figuring out who we really are.

‘Red, White & Royal Blue’

Based on Casey McQuiston’s critically acclaimed New York Times best-seller, Red, White & Royal Blue follows Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez), the son of America's first woman president, and Britain's Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine). Their very public rivalry threatens U.S./British relations until a staged truce unexpectedly sparks something deeper.

‘Hazbin Hotel’

Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie Morningstar, the princess of Hell, who opens a rehabilitation hotel for demons as an alternative to the yearly angel-led exterminations that control her kingdom's overpopulation. With her partner Vaggie, their first test subject Angel Dust, and the enigmatic Radio Demon by her side, Charlie's impossible dream of redeeming sinners into Heaven gets its first real shot at becoming reality.
