Prime Video has revealed the first look and release date for the highly anticipated Apocalypse Z sequel, which is officially titled Apocalypse Z: New World or Apocalipsis Z: Un Nuevo Mundo in Spanish language.
The upcoming second installment releases this Halloween worldwide following the global success of the 2024 original movie Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End.
This news was announced at the Prime Video Presents event on June 17 in Madrid, where the streaming service celebrated its tenth anniversary in Spain and unveiled 13 new Original and licensed productions.
At the event Prime Video also announced that Spain-produced Originals are their biggest non-English export, with franchises such as Culpables surpassing 100 million viewers globally and movies such as the first Apocalypse Z movie ranking among the most-watched titles on the service internationally.

This second installment in the Apocalypse Z saga is based on author Manel Loureiro's books, expanding the post-apocalyptic universe with more action and an ensemble tale.
The story takes us to the Canary Islands, which have become Europe’s last refuge following the outbreak of the TSJ virus. When a special mission sets out for the mainland in search of vital supplies, Roberto joins the team with questionable intentions.
The dangerous operation turns into a desperate race for survival, and Roberto and his companions find themselves caught between hordes of infected and divided loyalties. Then the timeless question arises: save yourself, or risk everything to preserve what little humanity remains?
